Dear Mom (EA Miracle) and Dad (Sir Fames HBV),
It's hard to believe that I've been gone for two and a half weeks already but these new humans have been giving me lots to do and I've been busy getting to know my new barn mates. They seemed amazed that I walked right into the trailer each time and just stand there waiting for them to tie me and then stand quietly just waiting to enjoy the ride and the food offered. They got me to my new home and immediately started what now seems to be endless beauty treatments. My legs got shaved and my hair got special conditioners and they put this stupid matching set of face and body clothing that looks like it was made out of a screen door to keep the flies off me. I thought it was a bit much but I excepted them with grace. When I first saw my new home I wasn't sure about going into the barn stall by myself but I got over that quick enough and now spend most of my time in the cool stall. My new barn mates are a bit confusing as, at first, the girls seem to really like me. They would rub up against the corral and smile and wink at me and I really liked it. But this week is a different story as I hear their hormones have flipped again and they are not as flirty to me as they were just last week. I don't understand mares, why can't they just be like my old friends in the paddock who only fought over food, not over who gets attention. There is one big white gelding who seems to think he rules the roost but the mares have told me he's a wimp and that I'm the new game in town. There are 3 dogs that are also new friends now that they know who is the biggest boy in the yard. I've got to go on several walks on the trails surrounding my new home. It is quite a change of pace from the life of leisure I enjoyed at my birthplace where you still live. There are lots of interesting things going on like motorcycles, bicycles, lawn equipment, kids on trampolines, balls bouncing around in yards and even water to cross. I've taken it all in really well as you both gave me great genes and I was brought up to be sensible but my new humans keep telling me that I'm such a good boy and how amazed they are that I do all this being only 2 years of age. They've changed my diet to include supplements yet I haven't gotten hot or stupid because of it. I LOVE BEET PULP AND APPLE TREATS!I did have to see the doctor as my eyes were constantly tearing. The doctor believes that my tear ducts were clogged probably from living in the paddock but we all know that I'm just a sensitive guy and missing you all makes my eyes tear up. I'm much better now with the medicine the lady vet gave me. She also said it looks that I was brought up well and I could be ready for trainer boot camp in the fall. They are already making me go around in circles at the end of a long rope to get me fit for what they call breaking me. Sounds ominous but I'm always ready for a challenge. Well I'll sign off for now. Please wish all my compadres in the paddock well. Tell them I think about them a lot but I'm getting use to having a space by myself especially when I can see my new friends even when they're eating. I had to master this thing called a water scupper but now I'm watering the stall floor just like the rest of them. Take care of yourselves and all my new brothers and sisters and step siblings.
Lots of Love, your son
Marc

Dear Mr. And Mrs. North,
My name is Paloma and I am 14 years old. I'm from Argentina, but I am currently living in Spain. Firstly I wanted to congratulate you for your beautiful horses, specially Padrons Psyche, to whom I feel grateful.
Padrons Psyche opened the Arabian Horse World to me 4 years ago, in Christmas, when I first saw him in Robert Vavra's book 'Horses of the Sun'. Padrons Psyche was one of the last horses in the book, and I fell in love with him. He had something in his eyes that I hadn't seen in a horse in my entire life, and although I was very young, I understood that this horse was very special. Until that day I only though about Thoroughbred or Criollo horses, they seemed to me has the only 2 breeds in the world, and I didn't knew any other, in fact. Well, I desperately looked for more information about him in the book, and luckily I found a piece of his story.
Padrons Psyche's name stayed in my mind until even half an year later, when my parents bought a new computer, and i was taught how to use it. The first thing I did was to google 'Padrons Psyche'. I started my journey together with the Arabian horse. Today, I know about horses such as *Padron (Psyche's Dad), *Bask, Nazeer, *Aladdinn, Ansata Ibn Halima and other beautiful and awesome Arabian horses.
But I still think that Padrons Psyche is special between the specials. I can tell when a horse has something to do with him because of that magnificent head, that only Psyche's influence can provide.
Finally I wanted to sent you this drawing I made of Psyche, I hope you like it!
Yours sincerely,
Paloma Teijeiro Pistarini.
Hi Bob and Dixie,
I just came in from visiting Euphoria (Sir Fames HBV X Entaicying NA). I was thinking of you while I was visiting her (and letting her eat alfalfa directly from the feed trailer... yes, she is spoiled... Greg thinks I love her more than him sometimes). I absolutely ADORE her and am so grateful to you for selling her to me. She is more beautiful every day and sweeter by the day. Does she get her looks from mom or from dad? I've been trying to get her started under saddle, but as you may have heard, it's rained here just about every day, which is impeding our progress. I didn't breed her this year, but I'm planning on breeding her to Psyche next year.
I hope all is well with you.
Sincerely,
Gina Smith
Hi,
My name is Julie, I'm 14 years old and I love Arabian horses. One of my mares has Patron & Aswan in her pedigree and I'm really happy about that. Your horse Padrons Psyche is beautiful! I'm from belgium and it's my dream to have a horse like Padrons Psyche.
I admire your horses ! :) I'm starting with my mares, halter training.
Grtz Julie
Hello,
My name is Morgan Millner and I am a huge fan of your breeding program. I own a gorgeous Psyche bred mare and she has been the most rewarding horse I have ever owned. She is fiery, but intelligent and patient. I started her myself when I was merely 16 years old and she is now pursuing a reining career. She will be in aotr/atr reining at scottsdale, possibly open and at liberty as well. Unfortunatley, she recently cut herself on a board and I fear that her halter career is now over.
Thank you for offering Psyche to the public for all those years, because your program gave me the opportunity to purchase my young mare with whom I have achieved far beyond my expectations.
Sincerely,
Morgan Millner

Hi!
My name is Morgan Belling, I'm seventeen years old, and Arabian horses are my passion, so much so that I researched and wrote a fifteen page term paper last month on the Arabian breed for my Expository Writing class. For about the past three years, I've been subscribing to Arabian Horse World, which I am happily addicted to. That publication has really fueled my love for Arabians, and although I have never owned a horse, I love to do some
hypothetical horse shopping while I flip through the pages. While I was browsing your website, I came across the beautiful picture of Princess Psyche (Padron Psyche x *Ghalia). She has a gorgeous face, and her eyes are luminous. She even looks like she is smiling! Princess is exactly the type of horse that made me fall in love with the Arabian breed. If her
disposition is as pleasing as her image, I would not be surprised, for I've read many testimonials about the Arabian horse's excellent temperament. So thank you for keeping the dream alive with your magnificent creatures.
A Lifelong Admirer,
Morgan
(P.S. Someday I'll advance from hypothetically shopping for Arabians and actually purchase some, so you might be seeing me in the future!)
Dixie,
I just wanted to thank you so much for your kind hospitality when I came to visit Padron Psyche. Even though it was cold and rainy, your staff was warm, cheerful and very professional. My dad who is not a horse person, was very impressed. Kate Gunning was a great hostess and immediately made me feel welcome and answered my questions. I loved being able to see the foals and was really impressed with the Sir Fames offspring. I’m researching to find a stallion for my mare and he’s right at the top of the list!
Again, thank you so much for letting me take up some of your valuable time to see your wonderful horses. Congratulations on all of your Scottsdale wins as well!

Mike, Dixie, & Robert;
I can still remember the 1st time I saw Padrons Psyche. It was June or July of 1990 in Waterloo, IA at the Blackhawk All Arabian Horse Show. The Blackhawk was a small show in a small city. You didn't see a horse of Psyche's quality very often at the Blackhawk. Even before Psyche won his class, I thought to myself, "Someday, I'm going to breed to that stallion." However, fate would intervene. At one point, I even thought I had put Arabian horses behind me. In 2002, I accepted that Arabians horses were not an option for me. Shortly after that realization, I purchased a 2-year-old mare from long time Arabian Breeder, Shelley Brinkert-Hjelm.
After purchasing my mare, I began my search the RIGHT stallion for my mare. I resubscribed to the Arabians Horse World & the Arabian Horse Times. Even before I received my first issues of each publication, I thought of Psyche & wondered what happened to him. My 1st issues of both publications answered that question. Psyche was more than a show horse; he was an imcomprable sire too.
In 2003, I purchased a breeding to Psyche. Even though my mare was only 3, I knew Psyche was the right stallion for her. Two long years later, I bred my finally mature mare to Psyche in 2005. On June 4th, 2006 my mare presented me beautiful bay filly sired by Padrons Psyche.
Thank you & Padrons Psyche for making a 16-year-old dream a reality.

Hello,
I just wanted to tell you how much I love *Sir Famess and what he is producing! We have long been a great fan of your breeding program, and own 2 Padron Psyche daughters already. One is GTC Psylk Rose, out of a *GG Samir daughter who is out of an *Aramus daughter. She is my favorite mare and also my trail horse - an absolute sweetheart!
We also own "LC Special Treat" in partnership with Shelley Hjelm (a full sister to GR Psyches Rey). She has just been bred to *Gazal Al Shaqab for 2007, but not checked back in foal yet......
We also own a full sister to Alada Fortune, the dam of the Scottsdale Auction Futurity winner by Sir Fames! Her name is Alada Lace...... for obvious reasons we are hoping to able to breed her to *Sir Fames next year.
Thanks so much for what you do - you are without a doubt a leader in the industry.
Mr. McNally and North's,
I wanted to thank you for the great service with me>breeding to Sir Fames. I was so pleased with the semen, and your promptness the mare was checked today IN FOAL and I'm ecstatic As you know, the mare that I substituted for is Padrons Quintessence (*Padron x Quintessential out of SX La Quinta) 3 year old black/bay mare. Should be a great baby and I thank you millions!
Ashley Camp
Dixie,
Yes, we did receive the materials on Monday. Very nice DVD. And Sir Fames is an impressive young stallion. We were taken by several of his get that were shown at Scottsdale this year. That is the true measure of the stallion we are looking to breed to.

I just wanted to let you know that I have recently purchased a Padrons Psyche son. And I wanted to let you know that I absolutely love him. He is definitely a real lover and has a very kind heart and loves to love on you. He is always alert and always looks forward to seeing you with his ears straight forward to greet you. I am looking forward to showing him this year Hunter Pleasure. He was US National top ten in 2003 as a 3 year old stallion. Unfortunately he was gelded in 2005. I have been told that he was very quiet as a stud also. I wish now he would have not been gelded.
I own a Barbary daughter and this wonderful Padrons Psyche son. What a great life.
Thank You Padrons Psyche!!
Dixie,
Thanks again, and all the best to you and Psyche, who is really having a phenomenal impact here in Europe! He is now officially an ECAHO 3 star stallion, having earned his points just by the success of his get. He is the only ECAHO 3 star stallion who never stood at stud in Europe!
Hi Dixie!
Just wanted to congratulate you on a fantastic show at Scottsdale! I didn't make it down this year, non horsey husband can't justify Scottsdale & Nationals in the same year. Many of my friends were there and were very impressed with the Sir Fames colt. What a huge honor for such a young one!
Well, Padrons Victory is doing very well. He's moving up to First Level in Dressage and my trainer wants to show him Hunter Pl. Jr. Horse again this year. He's grown again! When do they stop?! He is a solid 16.2 (honestly) and just turning 5 yrs. in May. I just bought size 81 blankets and they fit, unbelievable. Enzo's owners came to the barn just to visit with my trainer and just loved him. Wish I had been there, I would have loved to have met them. Sometimes its nice to hear that others like your horse. I've attached some new pix of Stripes in his first snow. We've had snow 3 times this year, usually its a treat to just get 1 snow and that's just a dusting! So all the horses have had some fun this winter.
Congratulations again on having an amazing show at Scottsdale!
Cheers,
Tamara
Dear Robert & Dixie & the staff of North Arabians,
We had the pleasure of meeting you at the US Nationals in Louisville in 2004. We are a stud based in Australia with a number of beautiful Psyche mares.
We thought you would be interested & pleased to know that we took our older mare, Psynecia Spa, to the Australian Championships on the weekend, where she was awarded Australian National Champion Mare. This mare is extremely gorgeous and we feel extremely pleased to own her. We will send you some photos from her win when we receive them!! We are so proud of her!!
P.S. Our younger Psyche mare, Euphoria Spa, is just as beautiful and is a multi A class Champion winner, the same as Psynecia. We hope to retain this title next year with her!! Fingers crossed!
We look forward to perhaps seeing you at this year’s US Nationals once again.
Kind Regards,
The Arabian Collection

Hello Dixie,
I wanted to update you on one of the Psyche x Bint Bey Shah fillys we had in 2005 that we sold to Belgium. Mike saw her last May when he visited looking for horses for your Scottsdale sale. She was just shown in her first show in Holland - "The Tulip Cup". I believe it is one of the 4 "A International" shows in Europe. She was Unanimous Jr Champion Female and Supreme Champion of the show. Bob was there to watch her and he said that she was spectacular. She is a full sister to Psytadel.
Janene
North Arabians,
CONGRATULATIONS on the spectacular wins from the Sir Fames offspring as well as the Psyche offspring. I'm thrilled to death to see how well Sir Fames has done as a sire. Completely looking forward to breeding my mare.
Cheers to you all at North's for a job well done!
Ashley
I would just like to let you know that Psylent Treasure (Padrons Psyche x Prada) was 2003 Youth National Champion Arabian Hunter Pleasure JOTR 14-17 as well as Reserve National Champion Arabian Hunter Pleasure JTR 14-17. We are very excited about our win and I’m sure it will add to Padrons Psyche’s credits as a performance sire!
Ashley Bibby

Hi, Bob and Dixie.
Just wanted to tell you what a delight it was to attend your second Open House and to see all those beautiful horses of yours. I must admit (and I haven’t to the girls and Dave) that I got teary-eyed to come into the presence of Psyche. I don’t know why, but he tugs at my heart! Wow….what a stunning animal he is. I hope the show was a huge success for you. The BBQ was delicious, and again, thank you for inviting us.
Love, Deb, Dave & the Girls
Dear Norths
This odd sounding name of a 16.h+ gelding who is a very special Psyche son.He started his show season this year and in two shows has won two championships. Not unusual for Psyche offspring with the exception that the classes were Country English Pleasure. He has halter pretty and balanced performance. As his breeder , my wife and I are as proud as his owners for his accomplishments. He will not be pushed and over shown as he is just four and starting his career.
His name is after my mother-in-law, whose first name is Nema (Amen spelled backwards). She was diagnosed with T-cell Lymphoma five years ago and my wife and I wanted to name a horse for her. Well seven colts in a row later we named Psparkle. She has been cancer free ever since. The naming of the horse might not have anything to do with it ,but the glow on her face when she sees him or hears about him is really special. Psparkle's future is extremely bright and I personally want to thank Psyche for the good he has done for our family. Thank you!

I don't know if anybody tells you, but you are one of the most conscious and devoted breeds I have ever seen. Not only do you have great horses to breed to, but your concern for what follows is incredible! So few breeders do any kind of follow up or show much interest once the mare is in foal. I can't tell you how much as a small breeder we appreciate your willingness to always going the extra mile. When I read the article of how you obtained LUMIAR ,I thought "what a lucky horse". Talk is cheap, but your actions prove that your love and concern is real.
Have a wonderful Holiday season.
Zita
Ms. Dixie and Mr. Robert North, first I would like to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH, for sending me the Padrons Psyche Video. He is a very special Stallion, Padrons Psyche is the most important Stallion on the world, his offspring are fantastic with a very good arabian type and athletic body.
Last month there was the Brazilian Jackpot Sale and the Padrons Psyche´s Semen was the most bid on in the sale! The Brazilian Arabian People are very excited for 2002 Padrons Psyche´s babies. Let my Congratulations to Padrons Psyche, and North Arabian Staff. Best Regards. Congratulations!
Thank´s! Lucas de Mello Ribeiro
